During the lockdown / restrictions implemented by the GoI and GoM in the year 2020 and 2021, elders including the paralyzed and bedridden, amputees, Comobidities in their respective homes in rural areas, jobless women, women from families who were rendered jobless due to the lockdowns suffered basic food insecurity as no aids from any sources identified and reached them.
