Our interventions rely on a core group of dedicated professionals headed by our Founder as the Chief Functionary of the organization.
Helping Hand Foundation is governed by an Executive Board of Trustees comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise, duly constituted as per provisions of law and supported by an Advisory Board of like-minded professionals. The board is elected every three years and a few independent members of eminence and reputation are nominated each year. Members of this board meet once every quarter.
Our Founder
Dr John A. Sircar (Founder & Chief Functionary)
John has over 35 years of work experience in corporate and non-profit management, executive and field positions in rural, semi-urban, urban, hilly, “hard to reach” and slum areas; worked among orphans, semi-orphans, marginalized, unprivileged, women, children, adults, youths, elderly, street children, drug & alcohol addicts, tribal communities to name a few including working closely with several local government departments. He is the Founder, Chief Functionary and authorized signatory of Helping Hand Foundation since its inception. An ardent decision-maker, visionary, disciplined professional and committed to the cause, he has been impacting unprivileged lives selflessly ever since. He is also a receiver of multiple awards for his social interventions and has a PhD in Metaphysics along with certifications from the field of Alt Medicine and Clinical Pathology.
Executive Board of Founding Trustees
The Executive Board of Trustees comprises like-minded professionals from diverse backgrounds and is elected / renewed every three years as per provisions of law and is not paid any honorarium or benefits from the organization or any of its services.
